Window or Mirror?

So, what is a window book, and why does it matter? A window book is a book which you have little or no connection to from your own life. A mirror book is which you have some or a lot of connections to your own life. It is like looking at something. A window is when you are looking outside at another world. A mirror is when you are looking at yourself, in your own shoes. These are very different from each other, and sometimes your book may not fit into these sections. There is also another section called the sliding door. It is a in-between of window and mirror.

The book I have here is Diary of a Wimpy Kid, A Long Haul. This book has many aspects of my life that are related to mine.

1. Less screen time. The mom’s are related. They both want us kids to stop having our noses two inches away from a screen, and they both are good arguers. Also, they want us to stop eating fast food and eat healthy.

2. Road trips from magazines are also part of us. We like to take road trips with our trusty car and the mom’s are in charge of them. My dad is also at work a lot so he doesn’t want to miss work days, so he isn’t a big fan.

But, there are many aspects are not part of my life.

1. We don’t have 3 kids.

2. We don’t have a minivan. We also don’t go to a public school.

3. I don’t have many family members in the USA. All of them are in China. We also don’t ever stay at a motel. That’s not us. We stay in a hotel. My mom also doesn’t push me to study Spanish. We also don’t go to a water park.
